 situated in a suburban area of aichi, japan, ‘agui house’ blurs boundaries between internal and external space in order to establish a comfortable and flexible family home. completed by ALTS design office, the property utilizes an ‘engawa’ a sheltered terrace positioned under the structure’s eaves that is commonly found in japanese architecture.
